Family Ministry

Family ministry is open to families of all ages and sizes and meets on school breaks and in the summer for activities and service, i.e. the Burrito Rider Iron Chef Challenge!

Burrito Rider Iron Chef Challenge: Families gather in the Geis Activity Center where they assemble 150-300 burritos for the homeless.  In addition to that they participate as teams in an Iron Chef Challenge, receiving one common ingredient and then choosing at least five others.  Teams have 30 minutes to create their dishes and when time is up fellowship and fun ensue as recipes are tasted and prizes are awarded!  This family activity will take place each year in July.

Open Gyms: Open gyms are offered for families on school breaks.

Family Camp/Retreat: Family retreats will take place twice a year, once in the Fall (October) through the Deanery at Mount Saint Francis and once in the Spring (March/April) at Camp Rancho Framasa.

New Albany Deanery Catholic Youth Ministry (Catalyst Catholic):  For more information on New Albany Deanery offerings visit their website.
